In the event you cannot send your ropes to us for recycling, here are some other GREEN ideas from PMI on how you may be able to use your retired ropes!
  • Fishing and marine uses (mooring boats, repairing nets, etc.)
  • For making rugs, curtains, keychains, picture frames, bracelets, and other types of recycled art
  • Rope Swings
  • Equestrian uses: halters, reins, lariats, lassos, lunge lines, etc.
  • Railings and demarcation lines (ex. to keep people (i.e. adventure tour clients) within a certain area, or from crossing into an unsafe area)
  • Boundary rope (sports)
  • For practicing knots (cut in small pieces and mark well to make sure they’re not used for any life safety application)
  • Jump ropes
